Today we celebrate Pentecost!

✨ Pentecost Sunday ✨

💬 “And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit.” – Acts 2:4

Today the Church celebrates Pentecost - the great feast when the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles and the Church was sent forth into the world.

The same Holy Spirit who filled the Upper Room continues to guide, strengthen, and renew the Church today, calling each of us to live with courage, faith, and joy.

➡️ May the Holy Spirit renew our hearts, our families, our parishes, and our diocese as we continue Christ’s mission together.

🕊️ Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful and kindle in them the fire of Your love.

St. Rita, pray for us.

St. Rita, pray for us.

May 22 is the feast day of St. Rita of Cascia, whom the late John Paul II called “a disciple of the Crucified One” and an “expert in suffering.”

⁣O Patron Saint of Impossible Causes, pray for us!

Today is the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord!

Jesus had two chances at "last words." His words on the Cross before He died and today, after His Resurrection, before He ascends into Heaven. Today we remember Jesus saying his last, last words to his disciples.

We should take note:

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28: 18-20)

As parents, you share in the mission of the Church by teaching your children the Truth of the Faith. That's where we come in.

We give you open-and-go, deeply theological, family style tools and resources so you can teach your children "to obey everything I have commanded you."

We desire to raise up a generation who joyfully follow the Lord and deeply love and understand their Catholic Faith. Because we want our children to know about Jesus, and we also want them to know Him.

May 1 is the feast day of St. Joseph the Worker!

While Saint Joseph’s primary feast day is March 19, Pope Pius XII added this second day in 1955.

It is celebrated as the Memorial of St. Joseph the Worker.

As a carpenter, St. Joseph worked very hard. His manual labor was difficult, and he is a great example to all of us in our daily work. In addition, he is a powerful intercessor for those who are seeking employment.
