Have you ever wondered why we place so much importance on the Bible? Why do we read it, study it, preach it, and build our lives around it?
The answer begins with this: the Bible isn’t just a collection of old stories. It is the Word of God.
Scripture
2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is inspired by God.
Throughout Scripture, we see God’s message unfolding.
The Bible tells us who God is, what He has done, what He has promised, and how He desires us to live.
2Timothy 3:16-17
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
That means the Bible isn’t simply something we read when we have a few spare minutes.
It is something God uses to shape us.
Think about a map.
If you’re traveling somewhere you’ve never been before, you need something that tells you where to go.
Life can feel the same way.
There are decisions we don’t know how to make. There are moments when we’re confused, discouraged, or afraid.
God has given us His Word to help guide us.
So here’s the question:
Are you allowing God’s Word to speak into your life?
Don’t just own a Bible.
Don’t just carry one to church.
Open it.
Read it.
Study it.
And most importantly, let it change you.
“God’s Word is not just information. It is transformation.
