⭐ Saturday Servant Shout-Out ⭐

This week’s Servant Shout-Out goes to…
Eddie Wakefield.

If you know Eddie, you know he doesn’t really like being in the spotlight. But sometimes you just have to recognize people who make a difference.

Eddie is one of the most giving people I’ve ever met. He’s the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He leads our Missions Committee and does an incredible job finding ways for our church to serve and impact our community.

The truth is, there are countless stories I could tell about how Eddie helps people, but he would probably prefer I leave most of them unsaid. So I’ll just share one.

When our second child was on the way, I was looking for ways to better provide for my family. Eddie not only let me use his trailer for an entire summer, but he also helped me develop a business plan and even gave me a corner of his warehouse to get started. He didn’t have to do any of that… he simply saw an opportunity to help someone and stepped in.

That’s who Eddie is.

He is the epitome of reaching back and helping others up.

On top of all that, he faithfully leads our Monday night basketball ministry, creating opportunities for fellowship, relationships, and outreach in our community.

Eddie, thank you for the way you serve, encourage, and invest in others. Our church and our community are better because of your faithfulness.

THE MAN WHO ATTENDED HIS OWN FUNERAL

EVIDENCE:

🔍 I died.

🔍 My mother was grieving.

🔍 A large crowd followed my funeral procession.

🔍 A man stopped the procession and touched what was carrying me.

🔍 Before I reached the cemetery, I was alive again.

WHO AM I?
