In the words of Tina Turner, “Simply the Best.” This is what “church” is all about!

What a day. I am truly thankful for everyone who helped make our Education and Promotion Sunday so special. It was a blessing to see our church family, friends, and loved ones come together to celebrate the accomplishments of our children, youth, and graduates. We honored 22 A/B Honor Roll students, 5 All A Honor Roll students, and 5 students with Perfect Attendance. We also recognized 30 individual academic achievements and celebrated two college graduates. One of our high school graduates was recognized for earning a full football scholarship. Our Sneaker Ball Luncheon gave us an opportunity to fellowship, laugh, and enjoy one another beyond the service. Today was a reminder that when a church invests in its children, we are investing in a brighter future for generations to come.

We pray that you and your family are doing well and enjoying a blessed week.

Just a friendly reminder that our Education & Promotion Sunday Awards Ceremony is tomorrow, 5/31/26! The ceremony will begin at 10:00am, and we ask that all children arrive by 9:15 AM.

Children are welcome to wear their favorite sneakers, but please make sure they are dressed in a manner that is presentable for this special occasion as we celebrate their accomplishments and milestones.

Families are encouraged to join in the fun and wear their sneakers as well. We will have a “Sneaker Ball” luncheon for our youth and families. We hope you will stay and enjoy this special time of fellowship and celebration together.

On this Pentecost Sunday, our children served beautifully and the Holy Spirit moved in a powerful way. You could feel God’s presence throughout the sanctuary. Moments like this remind me that the church is still alive and God is still moving among His people.

Pentecost was never meant to stay inside four walls. The same Spirit that filled the upper room is calling the church to carry hope into broken communities and love into places wounded by pain and division. The work of the church is needed!

So grateful for every leader, parent, child, and member who helped make today meaningful. My heart is full. To God be the glory! 🔥🙌🏽

Palm Sunday hit different this year. 🌿

Watching our youth stand and share during our Easter Week speeches was more than just a moment—it was a glimpse into the future. With simple words and sincere hearts, they declared “Our God,” reminding us that faith is not just taught, it’s lived and passed down in a loving church.

One day, they’ll look back and realize this is where it all started—being seen, supported, and poured into by a community that believed in them. And that’s what Easter Week is all about… not just remembering the story of Jesus, but raising up the next generation to carry it forward.

Oh, the places they will go 🙌🏽✨
