Following Jesus is not easy. One of the greatest challenges is when He tells us to love our enemies and to pray for those who persecuted us. How in the world do we do this when the world is so opposite to this? Join us this week for our final message of our "Connecting in an Uncaring World," series. We will focus on how giving empathy to even “those people” will lead to greater forgiveness and freedom in our lives and leave a new legacy that others might experience transformation for generations to come. Come prepared to be challenged and encouraged this Sunday.

See you this Sunday at 9:30am or 11:00am!

Grief, we all have experience with it. Last Sunday, Dan talked about how we can find the good in grief and how God uses it in the lives of others. If you missed the message you can watch it now at www.northbaycommunity.church/media

HOW DO WE SHOW CARE WHEN SOMEONE HAS EXPERIENCED LOSS?
It’s all about what you say, and what you don’t say, when you receive a call or text that your loved one has passed away. What actions do you take, and what do you avoid? This Sunday, we’ll explore how we can truly support those who have lost someone dear. If you’ve recently experienced this, it’s a crucial time to be loved and cared for. This will be a must-attend morning as we learn the power of empathy for those who need it, just as we do.

See you this Sunday at 9:30am or 11:00am!

HOW DO WE EMBODY EMPATHY?
Engedi Refuge does. As one of our ministry partners we have been supporting Engedi Refuge. Since its start in 2013, Engedi Refuge stands against human trafficking by providing safety and restoration for those victimized by this horrific crime. They care for s*x trafficking victims every day and provide one of the most successful restoration and after-care program models in the nation. This Sunday we will be challenged and inspired by stories of transformation. So don’t miss this important message as we come together as church to become the church to our community.

Thank you, Nancy, for reminding us of the strength, tenderness, and faithfulness God blesses the hearts of mothers with. Your story spoke encouragement to all mothers, whether they are celebrating, grieving, or just living day to day. Our church family was truly blessed by you sharing your heart with us.

Empathy isn't about having all the answers or rushing to fix someone. It's about presence over pressure, safety before solutions, and grace before growth. Jesus modeled this perfectly by welcoming the broken, sitting with the hurting, and carrying what we couldn't bear alone.

The cross is the ultimate expression of empathy. Jesus took our sin, our shame, our brokenness, and made a way for wholeness. You're not alone in your pain. You're seen, understood, and deeply loved.

Join us Sundays at 9:30 am or 11:00 am as we continue our series, Connecting in an Uncaring World.
