𝗜'𝘃𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝘀𝗸....We gather to keep leaning into community and curiosity. There's this amazing story in the Gospels about a man ill for 38 years and unable to seek healing -- unable to get help from anyone. And then Jesus notices him and asks the strangest question: "Do you want to be healed?" What is Jesus asking here? What is Jesus up to in this story? And why did no one else help this man before? Let's gather to worship a God who invites us to make space for vulnerability, healing, questions, and growth.

Beloveds let us pray:
Gracious God, the news of this day
has ripped our hearts and torn our souls.
We are walking through the valley of the shadow of death.
In the depths of pain and anger, we gather before you,
O God, our rock and our refuge.
You are our only comfort.
You are our only hope.
Merciful God, you know the depth of our suffering.
We have only begun to mourn those we have lost.
Uphold all those who love them, we pray.
Faithful God, surround us with your everlasting arms.
Hear our cries of despair,
heed our calls for justice,
and do not let us lose hope,
in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, we pray.
Amen.
