This resurrection Sunday Biggs Baptist Church had the pleasure of praying over Elaine Barnes and Kathryn Sheppard before they leave on their missionary trip to the Dominican Republic with mission of Hope. We know that Jesus will be watching over them as they go and will give them the words he wants spoken to share the good news of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to all those that have ears to listen. Yesterday was Palm Sunday, The day our savior rode into Jerusalem on the back of a foal of a Donkey.
This is the back of a donkey this is what Jesus would have seen as he mounted the foal's back.
There is no coincidence's with God he uses his creation to point us to his son Jesus Christ all the time, even a small donkey points us to the cross everyday with a literal cross on its back.

Jesus told some of his disciples to go and get a donkey foal for him to ride into Jerusalem on knowing he was going to be crucified there on a cross.

So Jesus was delivered on a cross to be crucified on a cross for us.

Dear All, Elaine will be embarking on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic, where she will be providing assistance to the local community and sharing the word of God. She will be traveling with the Mission of Hope group, which is based in the Dominican Republic and has requested that she bring donations to support the community.
