It has been a long time since we have posted anything on Facebook for Baja Paradise Christian Fellowship. My apologies.

We have great news to post today. After many years of work, the future elder care in Zaragoza was dedicated last night, March 20, 2025.

It is now open and ready to receive residents. Praise the Lord. God is good🙏🏼♥️

Después de muchos años de trabajo, anoche, 20 de marzo de 2025, se inauguró la futura atención a las personas mayores de Zaragoza. Ahora está abierto y listo para recibir a los residentes. Alabado sea el Señor. Dios es bueno🙏🏼♥️

Last May we were able to once again go to Zaragoza and Guadalupe, Mexico to work and fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ. They enabled us to get a lot of work done throughout our time there. We now have a covered overhead shade for the future eldercare. We also were able to distribute food and pray for many of the residents of both Zaragoza and the riverbed in Guadalupe. The night in the Zaragoza park was very well attended. Praise to God for a successful week in Mexico.

On another note, the man who helped us build the overhead shade for the Eldercare and who has waorked with us for years bulding and translating, Omar Lopez, went to be with the Lord September 10, 2023. RIP, Brother.

We made our first post COVID mission trip to Mexico this year. We had a very small group, only 5 people. It was so very nice to work with our brothers and sisters in Christ in Zaragoza and to visit with Chuyita and Lupe at the boys' home in Guadalupe. Together we had a very productive week. We were able to work to complete some small repairs and to make plans for a new water system for the future eldercare, which God willing, will open by the beginning of next year. Prayers please for a couple to be directors. We also made a food distribution and prayed with families in Zaragoza, visited a women's rehab,held a Women's fellowship day, and had a carnival in the park. Here are some highliights of our trip.

Asking everybody to please pray for Pastor Lupe. His wife, Chuyita, has posted that he is retaining water (edema), and they are going see a cardiologist.

Due to the coronavirus and the fact that the Mexico/United States border is closed, we have had to postpone our normal June mission. We have to wait and see what God has in mind. At this point we are hoping to be able to go to Zaragoza and Guadalupe some time in either September or October of this year.
I Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
