Welcoming, inclusive Episcopal parish by the sea. Holy Eucharist on Sundays at 8 am and 10 am St. We were founded in 1863 as a mission church of St. It’s us!

Peter’s Episcopal at Ocean and Hale streets is one of Beverly’s most historic downtown churches. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Salem (St. Peter’s San Pedro). Along with 13 other Episcopal churches and a summer chapel, we are active members of the North Shore Deanery of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts. We have reopened for in-person Sunday worship at 9 am, as well as live stream on Facebook. Parishioners who have moved away, homebound members, and new friends near and far join us weekly online to worship together. The Church is not a building. It’s a community of people doing God’s work.

Canon to the Ordinary The Rev. Canon Chris Wendell and new Regional Canon The Rev. Canon Anna Carmichael received a warm welcome to the North Shore Deanery Assembly at Church of the Holy Name in Swampscott. Chris gave an informative presentation on the diocese’s five core values, renewed mission statement and strategic priorities to the more than 30 lay delegates and clergy gathered for their fall meeting. North Shore Dean, The Very Rev. Jennifer Vath, Rector of Trinity Church Topsfield, introduced The Rev. Canon Anna Carmichael, the Deanery’s new regional canon. Anna shared her excitement to have joined the diocese and the many ways that she can be helpful to parishes. Holy Name parishioners served a hearty Italian meal and The Rev. Dr. Mark Templeton closed the assembly with Compline.
