Easter Sunday, Jesus has risen the tomb is empty. His death is the eternal hope for all believers, because He lives we also have life. When Mary Magdalen went to the tomb the stone had been rolled away and Jesus wasn't there He had risen (Luke 24:5-6). Mary went back and told the disciples. Peter and John ran to the tomb and found it just as she had said it was empty and the clothes were folded and lying there. Mary had the first encounter with the Lord (John 20:18). Mary told others she had seen the Lord. Jesus was alive, He defeated death and filled His promise. When Jesus met with the disciples after His resurrection, He told them go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and commanding them to obey everything I have taught you(Matt 28:19-20). Easter Sunday is about a Risen Savior He is who He claimed to be the Son of God and Savior of the world....

Holy Saturday- today Jesus laid in the tomb. It was a Day of Silence and grief, heartbreak, waiting, and not sure that hope wasn't gone after the crucifixion of such a heartbreaking day. For the disciples even after all they were told by Jesus still felt confused as to what happened. Today is just as important in Holy week because it represents the time between Jesus death and the day He arose. This is probably also a time for those on earth left behind without Him physically to learn to still keep their faith when Jesus isn't visibly with them(and for us today we have to trust in God's promises He laid out in His Word). I can only imagine all they felt was loss and pain of losing Jesus cause even at the last supper, they were still not clear of what Jesus was telling them was coming. They didn't comprehend it. I mean, think about it. We today are the same way. We know what Gods words say. But when we go through a trial or face death with a loved one, sometimes our flesh makes it hard for us to remember Gods promises. It's hard to hold on to faith sometimes. I've heard preachers say the grave isn't the end for believers. Life will win for believers, life for eternity. So take time today to ask yourself, are you walking with the Lord or have you slipped away. Do you not know Jesus? If not accept Him now before it's too late cause remember what Jesus did for us on Holy week was a way to the Father through the Son. Jesus died for us. He paid the penalty for our sins, so we would have a way, a way through Him to live with the Lord and Savior forever in Gods Kingdom for all eternity. "He is the Way the Truth and the Life and no one comes to the Father but through Him".(John 14:6).. have a blessed day my family and friends

Good Friday..heartbreaking for what happened and thanksgiving for what it did for us..
Today is the day Jesus knew was coming. The day when Judas would betray Him that He would be accused of blasphemy claiming to be of God and charged, and for us that really breaks our heart. He would be beaten and now to the cross (totally heartbreaking to think about the pain He suffered). Mark 15:13 the crowd hollered crucify Him😢. Think about the love of Jesus that followed God's plan and never had doubts or never gave up on giving His life for us. Can we say our love is as deep as His? Can you imagine being tortured this way on all He suffered before He carried that cross? In doing my studies and research of what Jesus went through on the Cross Jesus had to push Himself upwards against the nails just to breathe( some of us know, it gives us out just to hold our arms up at the point of exhaustion when doing certain things.) And even through all of this, Jesus was still doing like no other human I think could do. And that's ask God to forgive us cause we know not what we do(Luke 23). Jesus knew no sin but still took on our sins so we may be made right with God. From noon that day till 3 it grew dark and in John 19:30 Jesus says it is finished(meaning the debt we owed had been paid in full). Jesus bowed His head and gave up His spirit and because of Jesus and what He did for us on the Cross we now have access to God. Good Friday should tell us to repent and give our hearts to Jesus if we haven't already. All of this represents Gods love for us. Think about and read the scriptures of Holy Week and search your heart and Praise the Lord for the way He made for us to enter the Kingdom of God. I pray that those that don't know Jesus will search their soul and accept Him before it's too late, and for those that have stepped away from their walk with the Lord i pray you will return to Him. God bless you all

Maundy Thursday(in Latin means a new covenant)..
This is the day Jesus and the disciples have the Passover meal known to us as the last supper, the sacrament of communion. He washed the feet of the disciples and told them to love one another as He has loved them(the new commandment). I believe that Jesus didn't focus on what was soon to be His suffering He would endure but He focused on the moment at hand with the disciples, cause He knew He had to prepare them for what was coming. In John 13:1- jesus, having loved his own, who were in the world, loved them to the end, he rose from the table and took off his outer clothing and wrapped a towel around His waist and that's when He began to wash the disciples feet. John 13:6 Peter asked him, Lord are you going to wash my feet. John 13:7 Jesus told him you don't know now what I'm doing, but later you will understand. John 13:8 Peter told him no You won't wash my feet. Jesus said if I don't you have no part of Me, Jesus was showing the disciples they needed to be washed(not just their feet but their hearts). John 13:14, now that I've washed your feet you shall wash one another's feet( this was an example of servanthood, love and humility). Luke 22:19 Jesus broke bread and said this is My body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of Me. Luke 22:20 Jesus took the cup and said this is a new covenant in My blood which is shed for you(This is the Lord's supper). This is also the day he told the disciples that one of them would betray Him(and as all know that was Judas).... Today was a lot happening back then. We need to remember the depth of Jesus love and what it cost Him for our redemption. This is how things happened the last week of Jesus life on earth, and we need to study and ponder what all He went through for our Salvation.

Holy Wednesday, sometimes referred to as spy. Wednesday is the day when Judas made the decision to betray Jesus. This day we will reflect on the betrayal and the rejecting Grace that can have severe consequences as Judas found out. When you think about it, it makes you see the darker side of someone's heart, but you can also think about the other side of it, that Jesus still pushed through to His commitment to fulfill Gods plan..What a heart of Love and Grace.. After all, Judas witnessed, he still chose to betray Jesus, but Judas also struggled with choices and decisions like when he was the treasurer of the disciples group, and he was sometimes stealing from the money bag and he allowed this to take up in his heart. Judas wanted a Kingdom of power, but Jesus offered a Kingdom of humility. Think about it Even though Jesus knew what Judas was going to do, he still washed his feet, shared bread and even called him friend in the garden, Matt 26:50. The way Jesus still treated judas is purely of Grace to love and serve someone even when you know they will turn against you. I think Judas story is a warning, but it's also I believe is a story of Jesus' Mercy. So in remembering, Jesus final week on earth before He was crucified, search our hearts and see how we react to the Lord when we expect one thing, but God has a different plan. Do we stand with Him or do we go against Him.
