📖 Verse of the Week 📖

“Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.” — Philippians 2:3

In a world that constantly tells us to put ourselves first, God’s Word calls us to a different way of living. As followers of Christ, we are called to walk in humility, putting aside selfish ambition and seeking the good of others.

True Christian maturity is not measured by how much recognition we receive, but by how faithfully we reflect the heart of Jesus. Humility is not thinking less of yourself—it is thinking of yourself less and serving others with the love and grace that Christ has shown us.

As you go throughout your week, ask yourself: Are my actions motivated by a desire to glorify God and serve others, or by a desire to promote myself? May we strive to walk in the humility of Christ, considering others and demonstrating His love in our daily lives.

Let’s be a people who choose humility over pride, service over self-promotion, and Christ over culture.
