We’re collecting donations in two ways and would love your help!

📏 Restore Network Back-to-School Bash
Our goal is to collect 250 school rulers to help students in foster care start the school year prepared. Deadline is June 30.

🛍️ Cornerstone Cares Bags
We’re also collecting certain grocery items until August to fill care bags for families in our church who could use a little extra support. Use this link to let us know what you will donate.

Donations can be dropped off at Cornerstone Church at the missions table in the foyer. Every ruler and every grocery item makes a difference and helps us show the love of Christ in practical ways.

In Amos 7, the prophet sees Israel's sin and prays, "Sovereign LORD, forgive them!"

On the cross, Jesus took on the sin of humanity and cried, "Father, forgive them!”

When was the last time you prayed for someone who didn’t deserve it?

We tend to want a God who comforts but never confronts.
Amos reminds us that God's judgment isn't opposed to His goodness.
It's an expression of it.
A God who never judges evil may be easier to accept.
He just wouldn't be good.

WHY Pentecost Sunday?🔥

➡️A prophecy from Joel:
"'I will pour out my Spirit upon all people...'" Joel 2:28a

➡️A promise from Jesus:
"'But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.'” Acts 1:8

➡️A prophecy and promise fulfilled:
"On the day of Pentecost, all the believers were meeting together in one place... And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability." Acts 2:1, 4

Holy Spirit, speak to us, equip us, and empower us.
