*Monsters of the Apocalypse*
Join Pastor Daniel for a fun, five-week summer Sunday school series beginning May 31 at 9am in Fellowship Hall. Dragons. Beasts. A great pr******te drunk on the blood of the saints. The book of Revelation has some of the most vivid and strange imagery in all of Scripture. Its author, John of Patmos, had some very specific things to say about empire, power, and where our loyalty belongs. Come discover how God might still be speaking through these ancient and strange words.

“Today we honor mothers—our biological mothers, our found mothers, and those among us who had to mother themselves. We are grateful for the ways you have strengthened, protected, and nurtured us. Thank you.

Join us for Worship this Sunday! - "Then Paul stood in front of the Areopagus and said..." (Acts 17:22). Did you know LoveJoy United has a piece of the actual Areopagus where Paul spoke? This stone from the Areopagus, embedded in the old College Avenue Church pulpit, was given to the church by the mayor of Alton, IL in 1926.
