This Sunday, we took time to pause and remember. 🇺🇸

On this Memorial Day weekend, we honor the men and women who fought for our freedoms and never made it home. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free.

As we shared in communion together, we also remembered the greatest sacrifice of all—Jesus giving His life so we could experience true freedom, hope, and life in Him.

Grateful for a church family that worships together, remembers together, and points people to the One who changes everything.

Last weekend was a day of treasure hunting, laughter, friendship, and meaningful moments together at our Ladies Thrift Crawl! 🚌🛍️

From thrift store finds and bus dance-offs to donuts, fashion challenges, and our “Old Things Made New” theme, this day was about so much more than shopping.

It was about…
✨Making connections.
✨Inviting friends into community.
✨Encouraging one another.
And creating space for women to feel seen, valued, loved, and welcomed.

One of the highlights of the day was reflecting on “putting off” and “putting on” — letting go of old things that weigh us down and stepping into the new life God invites us into. 🙌🏻

We loved seeing women invite friends, build relationships, and create space for meaningful conversations. 🤗

Church is more than a place — it’s a family on mission together 🙌

We were reminded that individual personal investment is often more effective than corporate church campaigns. As Pastor Dan Jarvis shared, “Your invitation is superior to a group invitation.”

Real life change happens through intentional relationships, open homes, meaningful conversations, and everyday people pointing others to Jesus. Even our kids were learning about sharing the good news and living out their faith boldly.

From our Mother’s Day Gift Bar to powerful conversations around biblical womanhood and mentorship, this week in our Made to Be series reminded us that God’s design is both beautiful and purposeful.

We walked through seven timeless qualities from Proverbs 31—women who are treasured, entrusted, fruitful, strong, generous, wise, and significant. Not because of performance, but because of the character God forms within them.

We were challenged to invest in the next generation through mentorship and to become the kind of people who help others experience the abundant life of Jesus.

So grateful for a church family growing together in truth, purpose, and community

Our Leader Lifter was a meaningful night as we looked at where we’ve been, where we are, and prayerfully asking where God is leading us next.

Together we were reminded of our mission to share the abundant life of Jesus with everyone, everywhere by continuing to invest in people, invite them into our lives, and introduce them to Christ. Excited for all God is doing in and through BCBC as we pursue the vision of reaching people within 15 miles of our church with the gospel and the love of Jesus.

This Sunday in Made to Be, we saw a powerful picture of faith in action. Young women courageously shared the realities of following Jesus in today’s culture. We were reminded that identity is formed in Christ—not the world.

Living on mission. Growing in truth. Becoming who we were made to be.

Champions on and off the track! 🏆
We’re so proud of these students—several from our Torch middle school ministry—who took home the track championship! Their hard work, dedication, and teamwork paid off in a big way.

Berrien.life treated the team to McDonald’s after their big win—such a fun way to celebrate all their hard work and dedication.

We love seeing our Torch students running their race with excellence both on and off the track! 👟🔥
