The rain may have been pouring outside but we shook the walls with worship inside today for Day 1 of VBS!! Thank you to the many volunteers who helped Day 1 run smoothly! Today we learned from Luke 5:1-11 that “Jesus is the way!” We can’t wait to see what God will do tomorrow!!

If you are at church tomorrow and you are already registered for VBS, you can pick up your name tags at the Kids check in counter and skip the lines on Monday morning! If you aren’t registered yet, it’s not too late! Register today and have your name tag waiting for you tomorrow! If you are not coming to church on Sunday you can visit the check in desk Monday morning and someone will help you! We loved seeing everyone at church today! We wrapped up our May series, “Trek” in K-5 this morning with the beautiful truth that “God will make everything right in the end.” All month long we have been learning how to endure when life throws us curve balls. Today’s message was a powerful message of hope. We can endure because God has a plan. In Pre-K we are continuing to unwrap the character of God. This week our message was, “God sees me!” Thank you to our amazing leaders for another great Sunday and month! We couldn’t do any of this without the volunteerism of so many. We appreciate you!

Let’s celebrate Pre-K today! This month in Pre-K we are learning about the character of God. Knowing God’s character helps us know Him better and have an every day relationship with Him. Today our bottom line was, “God loves me!” We learned through our Bible story how much God loved baby Moses! He saved him from Pharaoh’s evil plan to get rid of God’s people. Today we learned God loved Moses and God loves me!
