It has been a busy week here at Our Savior. This weekend our community celebrates Winter Fest, so with that in mind we decided to to share JESUS in a unique way...with a BIG SNOW MESSAGE! Adults and kids alike enjoyed sledding, roasting hotdogs and marshmallows, and warming up with hot cocoa. Come worship with us Sunday morning. We would love to share the BIG MESSAGE of JESUS with you!

Last Sunday friends and family of Our Savior Lutheran Church spent some time living out God's command to "Love your neighbor...". We made and sent valentines to our shut-ins, among others.

Last Monday, the ladies of TLC and Our Savior Lutheran Church hosted "Advent by Candlelight" to mark the beginning of the Advent season with an evening of song, reflection and fellowship. Despite the snowy weather, nearly 100 people were in attendance!

We learned about the meaning of the candles on the Advent wreath, enjoyed special music from the Benzie High School Chamber Choir and feasted on an impressive dessert buffet. A few ladies also sightread some handbell music to accompany us in a festive rendition of "Joy to the World!"

It was a beautiful evening and a great reminder of why we celebrate Christmas. Thank you to the hostesses, program leaders and all who worked together to make this event possible. Our next Advent gathering is midweek worship this Wednesday, December 10 at 6 p.m. followed by a potluck supper.
