The church is under persecution!

ONE CHURCH IN SUDAN HAS BEEN HIT THREE TIMES IN THREE WEEKS

Nobody asked for money. That is the part that should scare you.

In Heiban town, South Kordofan State, Sudan, there is a Sudanese Church of Christ congregation in the Nuba Mountains.

On July 23, 2026, armed men came to the home of its pastor, Rev. Yaqob Ibrahim Tia.

They took him. Then they took his two sons, ages 17 and 20. Then they took his 15-year-old nephew.

The next day, July 24, a breakaway SPLA-N militia shot and killed Episcopal Pastor Adel Idris Jongool in the Dabi unit of Heiban District.

Eight days later, on July 31, they came back for the same church.

Zakaria Suliman Jana, a leader at Pastor Tia's congregation, was abducted from Heiban by suspected SPLA-N members.

Three attacks. One church community. And in three months of this, sources say there has not been a single ransom demand.

Kidnappers who want money ask for money. These men are not asking. Local sources say the goal appears to be simply to prove they can break the area apart.

The Nuba Mountains region is closed to the media, so most of what happens there never reaches a headline at all.

If armed men keep taking pastors and never ask for a dollar, what is it they are actually trying to take?

Tribulation is happening to the church today and we must be praying for the persecuted church .

On the night of August 23, the Viv Ansanm gang stormed Kenscoff, Haiti, targeting the evangelical Ark of the New Testament church, where displaced families sought shelter. 47 people were killed, 22 executed inside the church itself, including 5 children. Over 50 more were kidnapped, and homes were burned.
