Please continue to be weary of scams, especially for emails that look like they're coming from our pastors. If you receive an email with little detail asking you for a favor, it is a SCAM. If you receive an email asking you to buy gift cards, it is a SCAM.
When our pastors email you, they will include relevant detail and information regarding the specific reason they are reaching out. They will NEVER, for any reason, send a text or email asking for your personal banking information or for you to purchase gift cards. If the message seems to be authentic and convincing, please call the church at 218-751-1893 and speak with a staff member before moving forward. If you receive a message when the office is closed, WAIT! Wait until the office is open or you see a staff member in person to verify the information.
Please make sure your friends and family are aware of this type of scam so they are not taken advantage of. If you have any questions or want additional information on this matter, please contact us in the church office.
