June 7 – Trinity 1 – Our Lord’s plan is not our own plan. This is one of the greatest struggles for every single person born to the human race. We assume that, because we seem to have destiny in our hand, we have the ability to plan every single aspect of our lives, right down to the very time and place we have a child. Abraham was just like us. He had accumulated great wealth and was well respected in the new place God had sent him to. He had everything except a child—and thus no one to whom to pass on his wealth and wisdom. However, God promised him a child! While God does not promise us the same, He does promise us a family built on the blood of Jesus who names us His heirs and gives us His wisdom.

"Heavenly Father, we entrust our graduating seniors into Your hands. Protect them as they take this giant step forward. Give them the discernment to make wise choices, the resilience to face challenges, and the courage to pursue their passions. Surround them with good mentors, and may they always feel the foundation of the love we have built together. Amen."

"Dear Lord, thank You for the honor of raising my child to this milestone. As I celebrate their accomplishments, my heart is full of both pride and a little sadness. Please grant me the grace to let go gracefully. Fill my heart with peace, comfort any anxieties about their future, and help me to be the supportive foundation they need as they step into adulthood. In Your name, Amen.

Everyone is Welcome!

Dear God, as this school year comes to a close, I pause to give You thanks. Thank You for the opportunity to guide, teach, and learn alongside my students. For every lesson shared, every moment of growth, and every challenge overcome, I am grateful. I trust that the seeds sown in my students' lives will grow in ways I may never fully see.
