Happy Labor Day from Lake Hills.
Today we give thanks for the gift of work, rest, and the many ways God provides for our needs. We’re also praying for our city, our neighbors, and the families in our church as we begin a new month.
May the Lord help us live faithfully in every place He has sent us.

What a great day at church today!
We worshiped our Savior, observed the Lord’s Supper proclaiming His death until He comes, commissioned two new deacons, and opened God’s Word together in Acts 15:1–35.
This passage reminded us of the beautiful clarity of the gospel: we are saved by the grace of the Lord Jesus. Not Jesus plus religious performance. Not Jesus plus our background. Not Jesus plus carrying burdens God never gave us.
Grace alone saves us — and that grace leads us to walk in holiness, love, and unity together.
I’m thankful for what God is doing in our church family.
