A significant part of Kids VBS Day Camp was helping our kids learn more about God and His Word. Yuki led our Bible lessons from Ephesians 6, helping the kids learn about the armor of God and what it means to stand strong in their faith.

We’re grateful for the way Yuki helped make Scripture understandable and engaging for our kids. Helping kids know God and grow in faith is at the heart of what we want to do at camp and every week in our Kids Ministry.

Another meaningful part of Kids Camp was giving kids time to slow down, create, and enjoy being together. Sharon led our craft time, helping the kids make something of their own while talking and connecting with friends around the tables.

We loved seeing their creativity—and all the different ways kids were able to participate, connect, and have fun throughout the week.

Sometimes meaningful connection happens around a table—and there were plenty of snacks to help with that at Kids Camp! Ee-Loon helped keep nearly 30 kids fed throughout the week, providing snacks and another opportunity for kids to sit together, talk, laugh, and connect.

We’re thankful for all the practical ways people served to make camp a welcoming place for our kids.

Some of the most memorable moments of Kids Camp came from simply letting kids be kids together! They took on the obstacle course, tried archery, played with the giant blobs, and spent time at the nearby park and water park.

There was a lot of laughter, movement, and new friendships being formed along the way. Creating a place where kids can have fun, make friends, and grow in faith is important to us—not just at camp, but every week in our Kids Ministry.

One of the meaningful parts of Kids VBS Day Camp was hearing our kids sing and dance together! Sadie led them in songs throughout the week, giving them another fun way to learn about God and express their faith together.

Fun, friends, and faith are important to us in Kids Ministry and we love creating opportunities like this at camp and every Sunday at church.

We’re still buzzing after such a meaningful Kids VBS Day Camp last week! So many people helped make these three days possible, and we praise God for an incredible team.

Sadie and Sue helped lead the camp, with Yuki teaching the Bible lesson, Ee-Loon providing snacks, Sharon leading crafts, Sadie leading songs, and Drake/Asher/Phil helping with games. Glenice, Isaac B., Abbie, Sadie, Janelle, and Carol served as counselors with our different groups of kids. And throughout the camp, David, Sally, Rich, Jean, Keith, Asher, Ganzo, and other parents jumped in wherever help was needed.

It truly was a team effort. We’re so thankful for each person who gave their time and energy to help our kids have fun, build friendships, and grow in faith!

This past week was such a meaningful time of ministry! Annabelle led our women’s event that brought together 14 ladies for an evening of fellowship, worship, and encouragement, and Sadie led our Kids VBS Day Camp that welcomed nearly 30 kids.

We’re so thankful for Annabelle and Sadie, for their leadership, and for the way they care for people in our church and community. Such a blessing to our church!

A couple of our members recently visited the Ark Encounter in Kentucky! The life-size reconstruction of Noah’s Ark gave them a chance to experience the scale of the biblical account in a unique way and learn more about the story of Noah, the flood, and God’s faithfulness. Fun to see where people in our church family travel and what they’re learning along the way!

One of the special parts of our women’s gathering was the food! Each lady was invited to bring a dish connected to a family recipe or tradition and share a little of its story. The result was an amazing table of food and a chance to learn more about one another through the recipes and memories that have been passed down through their families.
