May 31 — Our church family gathered together to worship our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to give thanks for the many blessings God continues to pour into our lives.

Today’s message focused on the Great Commission from Matthew 28:16-20. Jesus calls us to “go and make disciples of all nations” — a mission that can seem overwhelming at times. Yet we are reminded that we do not go alone. Christ promises to be with us each and every day as we share His good news through acts of love, compassion, kindness, and forgiveness.

On this beautiful Memorial Day weekend, our church family gathered to worship our risen Lord, give thanks for God’s many blessings, and celebrate the Day of Pentecost.

Our message, based on Acts 2:1–21, reminded us that the Holy Spirit renews and recharges our spiritual batteries so we can go forth and share the Good News of hope and God’s love with the world.

Just as the Spirit empowered the first disciples, we too are called to live each day as Spirit-filled people of God — united, energized, and ready to bring Christ’s love to others.

On a beautiful Sunday morning, our church family gathered in the name of our risen Lord and Savior to worship and give thanks to God for the many blessings in our lives — especially for our mothers.

The message today reminded us of Christ’s promise that we are never abandoned or left alone. Jesus promises the gift of the Advocate — the Holy Spirit — to be with us, guide us, and strengthen us. We were reminded that the Spirit often puts on “skin” through the people around us. In many ways, our mothers have been living examples of God’s love, compassion, encouragement, and presence in our lives. We, too, are called to share that same love and care with others.

We hope and pray that every mother had a blessed and wonderful Mother’s Day!

On this beautiful day, our family of God gathered to worship our risen Lord and to give thanks for all that God has done and continues to do in our lives. We were especially blessed to recognize and celebrate our graduating high school seniors during worship.

The message, based on John 14:1–14, centered on the carrying and passing of the baton of faith, love, and hope to all whom God places before us. We were reminded that even amid the uncertainties of the future, we are called to live with perseverance and courage.

As followers of Christ, we place our trust in Him, for He is the Way, Truth, and Life, and has promised to go with us wherever life leads. With that assurance, we are encouraged to carry forward and pass on the baton of faith, love, and hope to others.

Saturday, May 2

Our church family gathered in worship of our risen Lord, Jesus Christ, giving thanks to God for this day and for the many blessings that sustain our lives and fill our hearts with joy. We were also blessed to witness the baptism of Rosalie—a beautiful reminder of God’s grace and love. It is always a joyful day when we welcome a new sister or brother in Christ into the Lord’s family and into our fellowship.

Sunday, April 26

On this beautiful Fourth Sunday of Easter, our church family gathered together in worship to praise our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, giving thanks for God’s many blessings.

Our message centered on John 10:1-10 and Psalm 23, where we reflected on Jesus’ promise of abundant life, and how that promise is beautifully echoed in the comforting words of Psalm 23. What a blessing to be reminded that in Christ, our Good Shepherd, we are truly cared for, guided, and given life to the fullest.

Sunday, April 19

After weathering several strong storms and seeing the damage around us, our church family gathered in worship this Sunday with grateful hearts—praising our risen Lord, Jesus Christ, and giving thanks for the many blessings we still hold, especially God’s protection.

Today’s message reflected on Luke 24:19–35, where Jesus meets the travelers on the road to Emmaus. Like so many Easter stories, it reminds us that Christ comes near in our moments of discouragement, confusion, and lost hope.

And we are gently reminded: Christ doesn’t force His way in—we are invited to welcome Him into our lives each and every day.

On this Second Sunday of Easter (April 12), our church family gathered to worship our risen Lord and give thanks for all that God has done for us.

In today’s Gospel (John 20:19–31), we heard how Christ came to His fearful and doubting disciples—including Thomas—and spoke peace into their lives. It’s a powerful reminder that this same peace is given to us today—a peace that assures us all is well between Christ and us, even in the midst of our doubts and the weight of our past.

We are also reminded of Jesus’ words: blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe. That blessing is ours today as we trust in the risen Lord.

Christ is risen! He is risen indeed. Alleluia!
