August Gate Church A Gospel-centered, missional church in the St. Louis Metro region that meets on Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 10:40. What does our name mean?

Mission
It is the mission of August Gate Church to be disciples of Jesus who make more disciples by gathering around the Gospel, growing in community and going on mission. Vision
The vision of August Gate Church is to saturate the St. Louis Metro region with gospel-centered, missional churches. We see thousands of people all over Illinois and Missouri gathering around the Gospel to worship Jesus,

growing in the Gospel by coming together in homes throughout the week and going with the Gospel as they live out what they believe in their homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, schools and cities. The name August Gate comes from the tenth chapter of the book of Luke and figuratively means "Harvest the City".

There’s no transaction between us and God, but there is an exchange.

We offer absolutely nothing.

Jesus takes our sin, endures the wrath that it incurs, and gives us salvation. It’s never earned, but given.

Salvation is not what we get for obedience. It’s why we obey, because we’ve been saved and set free by a holy, loving, and gracious God.

As D Groups are on break, this class will be a great chance to be equipped to grow as disciples of Jesus and connect with one another.

The book of Malachi is about a people who had forgotten who God is. One area of worship where they needed help from the Lord to trust and believe rightly was tithing. That message is still relevant for us today!

Part of discipleship is learning to trust the Lord with our finances and to steward what He has entrusted to us in ways that honor Him.

The call for every believer is to be part of a church family where they are so invested in that church’s pursuit of God’s mission in the world that they can give their tithes and offerings joyfully, sacrificially, and without hesitation.
