August Gate Church A Gospel-centered, missional church in the St. Louis Metro region that meets on Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 10:40. What does our name mean?

Mission
It is the mission of August Gate Church to be disciples of Jesus who make more disciples by gathering around the Gospel, growing in community and going on mission. Vision
The vision of August Gate Church is to saturate the St. Louis Metro region with gospel-centered, missional churches. We see thousands of people all over Illinois and Missouri gathering around the Gospel to worship Jesus,

growing in the Gospel by coming together in homes throughout the week and going with the Gospel as they live out what they believe in their homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, schools and cities. The name August Gate comes from the tenth chapter of the book of Luke and figuratively means "Harvest the City".

We’re kicking off a new series called Simple Season Tool Box, where we’ll be sharing practical ideas to help make outdoor worship a wonderful experience for everyone!

We’re so excited for six weeks of worship, community, and fall weather as we gather together to worship Jesus and grow closer as a church family. ❤️

Pastor Will taught from 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18, reminding us that the reality of future resurrection fills us with hope here and now. Because of Jesus, death is not the end—and we have the promise of being together with Him forever!

Simple Season is Back This Fall!

Join us each Sunday from September 27 through November 1 for one combined family worship service at 10:00 AM on our back lawn.

Simple Season is a chance for our church family to slow down and worship together across generations. It's also an opportunity for many of our ministry teams to take a break from serving while we continue growing in community.

We'd love for you to invite your friends, neighbors, and family to experience simple, outdoor worship with us this fall!

August Gate is proud to partner with Rescued & Restored as they share the Gospel to first responders and military members and equip believers in those fields to make more disciples of Jesus through peer support.
