August Gate Church A Gospel-centered, missional church in the St. Louis Metro region that meets on Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 10:40. What does our name mean?

Mission
It is the mission of August Gate Church to be disciples of Jesus who make more disciples by gathering around the Gospel, growing in community and going on mission. Vision
The vision of August Gate Church is to saturate the St. Louis Metro region with gospel-centered, missional churches. We see thousands of people all over Illinois and Missouri gathering around the Gospel to worship Jesus,

growing in the Gospel by coming together in homes throughout the week and going with the Gospel as they live out what they believe in their homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, schools and cities. The name August Gate comes from the tenth chapter of the book of Luke and figuratively means "Harvest the City".

The first five verses of Malachi make it clear. God assures us of His steadfast love in every season. We see this in four main ways.

1. His love is seen in His unchanging character and covenant, not in our circumstances.
2. God’s love is seen in His election, not in our earning.
3. His love is seen in His protection, not in our power.
4. God’s love is seen in His future faithfulness despite our fears.

When we doubt God’s love for us, our root problem is that we’re so focused on our circumstances that we fail to see God’s greatness and glory.
