🚛 Living Hope is Moving!

If you haven’t got the news yet, Living Hope will officially be moving locations and our first service at the new location will be Sunday, October 4 at 9 AM right next to Life Church!

Until then, we will be at our normal spot.

You’re the liar.

Gospel fluent is less about reading just for reading sake, or reading just for head knowledge. To be gospel fluent is to better understand who God is, his character, and how He sees you, as His child.

When we have regular rhythms of reading scripture, meditating on them, conversing with other believers within the context of the scriptures, we are able to battle the lies that we believe about ourselves.

Being gospel fluent is also about seeing how God loves you where you are, AND loves you enough to not keep you there.

Stop living and reciting your failures, traumas, or false acceptance of ‘that’s just who I am’. Call it what it is, and PROCLAIM WHO THE LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST IS.

Don’t lose sight!

It’s easy for us to lose sight of our identity in Christ. So often we believe lies, not just external, but internal as well. This is why a gospel centered community is so important.

Yes, spend time reading God’s word, studying the scriptures in context, and being in prayer are all important, AND so is being in community!

All of these things will help remind us when we lose sight of who God reveals himself to be, and of who He has created us to be.

Never make a permanent decision in a temporary situation.

Please reach out to someone today and remind them of who God says he is and of how those of us who have confessed that Jesus is LORD and Savior, are true children of God.

Gifted for More

Let’s not just throw our hands in the air and think “it ain’t me”. Yes the Lord has given us specific assignments for a season,

AND

God has also equipped us with His Holy Spirit to do what is needed for the church body. Allow yourself to grow in your sanctification by truly being willing to serve where you’ve been placed.

No excuses

Often we think that because we aren’t pastors, haven’t had deep theological studies, nor have some outgoing charismatic personalities with a platform, that we are excused from proclaiming the gospel.

We have been instructed by Jesus to go and preach to all the world (that world could be your school, job, and even your neighborhood)

Also, 1 Peter 3:15
“but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, ALWAYS being PREPARED to make a defense to ANYONE who asks you for a REASON for the HOPE that is in you; YET do it with GENTLENESS AND RESPECT,”
