Good Afternoon Living Hope Family,
I hope this message finds you well and filled with God’s peace and joy! Whether you join us in person or connect with us online, we are so grateful for your presence in our community.
I’d like to take a moment to share an important update—something that has been prayerfully and thoughtfully considered over time, especially as it relates to our online audience.
This Sunday, September 14th, will be the final week we livestream our service. While this is a shift, we believe it is a necessary and ultimately positive step for our church as we continue to grow and evolve in how we serve one another and our broader community.
There are a few key reasons behind this decision:
Volunteer Support – Our livestream has been made possible entirely by dedicated volunteers. At this time, we do not have the consistent volunteer base needed to continue offering the livestream while also ensuring an excellent in-person worship experience. Rather than stretching our team thin, we want to steward our resources wisely and sustainably.
Mission Alignment – Our livestream began as a way to keep us connected during COVID and to offer newcomers a glimpse of the Living Hope experience. While it served its purpose well, recent data shows that the livestream is no longer reaching people in the way we had hoped. By pausing it, we can refocus our efforts on areas where we can make a deeper impact and better serve our congregation.
We know this change may affect those who rely on the livestream, and we want you to know that you still matter deeply to us. We’re not disappearing—we’re simply shifting how we connect.
What’s Next?
Although the livestream will pause, the weekly sermons will still be recorded and uploaded to our YouTube channel shortly after each service—typically within a few hours to a day. So while you won’t be able to watch live, you’ll still be able to stay connected with the message each week.
To our online community—whether you've been with us for years or just joined recently—thank you. Your presence has been a blessing, and we look forward to continuing to walk with you in new ways.
To summarize:
After this Sunday (9/14/2025), we will be pausing our weekly livestream until further notice. Sermons will continue to be posted online weekly. We appreciate your understanding and support, and we’re excited to see where the Holy Spirit leads us next.
With gratitude and hope,
Jacob Friedenburg (Head of A/V)
