A blessed Church New Year to all!
As the Church year begins September 1st with her liturgical cycle of fixed feasts and commemorations, we plan to start the year with a moleben.
In this service of prayer we give thanks to God for the past year and ask for the compassionate Lord to forgive our sins, give his blessings, and guide us in the new year that He gives us.
This service will be at 7pm in our parish on Tuesday September 1st.
All are welcome!

Reminder to come early tomorrow for a service of prayer (9am) for students beginning a new year of school before Liturgy (9:30am).
Are you not starting a new year of school yourself? Come anyway to join in loving prayer to the Lord for those that are!

Did you know...
We have holy relics of St. John the Baptist here in our parish?
Come and see, and honor the Holy Prophet, Forerunner, and Baptist John this evening at 7pm with Great Vespers for the Feast of his Beheading at our parish.
Tomorrow we'll be joining the faithful of Saint John the Baptist Orthodox Church for their altar feast for the Divine Liturgy at 9:30am. We look forward to praying with you!

We welcome you to our Food Festival on September 20th! Come to enjoy delicious food made in-house by our dedicated parishioners including halupki, halushi, pierogies, beef stroganoff, bread, and more!

The Food Festival begins at noon but we welcome you to come early for worship in the Divine Liturgy at 10am as well! We aim to feed body and soul!

"Rejoice, unwedded Bride!"

On August 18, 1988 our icon of the Theotokos on the iconostasis was found to be miraculously streaming myrrh. This was a great gift from God to our community to strengthen our faith and to encourage us in living faithful Christian lives.

Today, on the anniversary of this occasion, we plan to gather at 7pm in the church for an Akathist to the Theotokos. The Akathist, itself a long hymn, is a wonderful service of praise to the blessed Mary, the Mother of God, the one through whom the eternal Son of God came to us to save us. In this service we honor the Incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ and His Mother through whom this gift came to us and ask for her intercessions as we continue our Christian sojourn in this age.

We welcome you to this opportunity to gather, be encouraged in our lives of repentance, and to spend time together with our Lord and His Mother!
