✝️🤝 Group Reconciliation Assistance Seminar 🤝✝️

📅 June 5 & 6 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church

Join us for a meaningful seminar focused on the biblical call to reconciliation through the lens of Luther’s Small Catechism and the six chief parts of the Christian faith. Participants will explore how the power of the Gospel (Romans 1:16) brings healing and restoration to relationships at home, in the workplace, within congregations, and throughout the community. 💛

Led by Rev. Matt Sorenson and Mrs. Tina McGuffey, who together bring more than 26 years of experience helping congregations navigate conflict and move toward reconciliation in Christ.

It looks like “Pastor Garet” has been impersonated again—he’s apparently very popular these days. Unfortunately, the other version likes to ask for things the real one never would.

Just a friendly reminder: we will never ask for gift cards, money, or financial help through email.

Before replying, always take a moment to double-check the sender’s email address. A quick glance can save a lot of trouble (and keep your gift cards safely in your own hands 😊).

When in doubt, feel free to contact the church office directly—we’re always happy to help confirm what’s legitimate.

On this Memorial Day weekend, we pause as a church family to remember and give thanks. We honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country, and we hold their families in our prayers.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to all who have served—and to those who are currently serving in the armed forces—who have dedicated their lives to protecting our freedom.

As we reflect, we give thanks to God for their courage, their sacrifice, and their steadfast commitment.

May God bring comfort to those who grieve, peace to our nation, and protection to all who serve. From all of us at SMLC, thank you.
