A place of welcome and faith, St. Matthew Lutheran Church shares the Good News with our family, our neighbors, and beyond. St.

Matthew Lutheran Church has worship services on Sundays. Our traditional service is held at 8:00 a.m. and our Contemporary service is held at 10:15 am. There are many other opportunities to join the community through service, bible group studies, and Sunday school. The church office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. The Food Pantry is open Thursdays, 6:00 - 7:30 pm, and Fridays, 10

🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸 Today, we give thanks for the gift of work and for all those who labor to serve their families, communities, and neighbors.

As Lutherans, we believe that God calls each of us to serve others through our daily vocations—whether at work, at home, in our communities, or through the ministries of the church.

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” — Colossians 3:23

Today, may we rest, give thanks, and remember that even the ordinary work of our hands can be an extraordinary way to love and serve our neighbor.

First Communion Registration is Open! ✝️
We’re excited to begin preparing our 2nd–4th grade students to receive their First Communion this fall!

Students will attend three classes with Pastor David, held immediately following the 11:00 AM worship service on:

📅 October 25
📅 November 1
📅 November 8

These classes will help children learn about the meaning of Holy Communion and prepare their hearts and minds for this special milestone in their faith journey.

In honor of National Dog Day, we're excited to announce that our annual Blessing of the Pets event is just around the corner! 🐾💕 We're asking you to save the date for this special celebration, which will take place on Saturday, October 17th at 11am in the sanctuary parking lot.

We're expecting a great turnout of 2 legged and 4 legged friends, so mark your calendars and get ready for a fun-filled morning of furry fellowship! 🐶🐱 Our Blessing of the Pets event is a wonderful opportunity to bring your beloved pets to receive a special blessing, and we can't wait to see you and your furry friends there!

🙏 Don't forget to arrive early to grab a good spot, and feel free to bring your pet's favorite toys or blankets to make them feel comfortable. We're looking forward to seeing you on October 17th! 📅

Our Sunday School classes begin the week of September 13th and meet at 11:15 AM in the back of the Sanctuary; following the Children’s Message in worship. The classes will end around 12:15 PM.

While the kids are learning and growing, why not stick around afterward for a little mingling and fellowship with fellow members? It’s a great opportunity to meet someone new, catch up with friends, and build community.
