There comes a moment in every woman’s life when she realizes…

Control isn’t protecting her.

We control because we’ve been hurt.

We self-protect when:
• We’ve been disappointed
• We’ve been rejected
• We’ve been overlooked
• We’ve had to survive
• We felt unsafe trusting

So we grip tighter.
We manage outcomes.
We guard our hearts.
We brace for impact.

But control is often fear dressed as strength.
And self-protection can quietly block intimacy with God.

Jesus showed us the higher way in Luke 22:42 —
“Not my will, but Yours be done.”

Surrender is not weakness.
It is radical trust.
It is releasing the illusion of control and choosing communion.
It is allowing God to be safe enough to lead you.
