Friends, remain vigilant as scammers are getting ever more complicated. A reminder that Pastor Andrew will never send you any messages asking for gift cards or funds. If you get a message from someone from church asking for money please call that person to verify, as often the scammers say "I can't take a call right now."

Investigators say the suspect then made a critical move — directing the victim away from Facebook and onto a different messaging platform, WhatsApp.
