Tonight our men's Bible study heard a powerful sermon of thunder, lightning, and the reminder of God's faithfulness.

We sat outside under the pavillion and witnessed the power of God on display.

The same God who spoke all things into being by the word of His power, took on human flesh to His deity, and became man.

This Jesus Christ lived a sinless life and died as the only sacrifice for sinners. He is risen bodily from the dead and is ascended to heaven.

"10 But Yahweh is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth quakes, 11 And the nations cannot endure His indignation. Thus you shall say to them, “The gods that did not make the heavens and the earth will perish from the earth and from under the heavens.” 12 is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom; And by His understanding He has stretched out the heavens. 13 When He gives forth His voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, And He causes the clouds to ascend from the end of the earth; He makes lightning for the rain, And brings out the wind from His storehouses.

14 Every man is senseless, devoid of knowledge; Every goldsmith is put to shame by his graven images; For his molten images are a lie, And there is no breath in them."

Repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

What are a some strong devotional books that have encouraged our elders and families?

Maybe you're looking for a strong devotional that will point you deeper to sola Scriptura. Or maybe you're looking for gift suggestions for someone in your family?
