Jesus calls us to share His love and invite others in—and there are simple, meaningful ways we can do that!

💛 Here are a few ideas:
• Invite a friend to join you on a Sunday morning at Bedford Community Church
• Share a service with someone by watching on YouTube together
• Talk to a friend about what God is doing in your life
• Be kind and welcoming so others feel included and valued

🎉 Kids can also invite friends to something special this summer!

We all have moments of disagreement—even with the people we care about most. But in those moments, we can choose to respond in ways that reflect God’s love.

❤️ Some ways to show love and forgiveness:
• Take a moment to calm down before responding
• Listen to understand, not just to reply
• Speak kindly, even when you don’t agree
• Be quick to say “I’m sorry” when needed
• Choose to forgive, even when it’s hard

Jesus teaches us that love is stronger than disagreement, and forgiveness helps restore relationships.

💭 What’s one way you can show love this week at home?

Read Genesis 25:29–34 and Genesis 27 to learn more about this complicated family story.

As the firstborn, Esau held the birthright—a special honor that included leadership of the family and a double portion of the inheritance. A blessing could be given to any child, but the birthright carried greater responsibility and privilege.

Jacob later deceived his father Isaac to receive the blessing intended for Esau.

💭 This story helps us think about:
• Why do people sometimes try to take shortcuts instead of trusting God’s timing?
• What happens when we choose trickery instead of honesty?
• How does God work even through imperfect people and messy situations?

Even in broken family situations, God’s plan continues to move forward.

Read Genesis 25:19–24 to learn about these two very different brothers.

Jacob and Esau were twins—but they were very different in personality, interests, and the way they lived.

💭 It can be hard when you feel different from your family or those around you. Sometimes we just want to be seen and appreciated for who we are.

But God sees each person uniquely and values every one of us.

✨ Take a moment to reflect:
• What makes you unique?
• How can you show kindness to someone who is different from you?
• How does it help to know God created you on purpose?

One important way is this:
✨ Believe what God says about who we are.

God reminds us that we are loved, known, and cared for by Him—even when we don’t feel it.

🙏 Other ways we can show trust in God:
• Talk to Him in prayer, even about small things
• Obey what He says in His Word
• Choose faith over fear when things feel uncertain
• Remember His promises when we feel worried

Trust grows as we keep choosing to rely on Him each day.

In Genesis 22:1–14, God provided a ram in place of Isaac. Abraham didn’t have to provide the sacrifice—God did.

🙏 Sometimes God’s provision comes in ways we don’t expect, but always at just the right time.

Take a moment to reflect:
• When have you seen God provide for you in a specific moment of need?
• What are you trusting Him for right now?
• If nothing comes to mind, ask God to help you remember His faithfulness.
