Busy day at Antioch yesterday! We started the day celebrating our Sunday School students and staff with our annual Moving Up Ceremony. Sunday School staff pictured.

Then we celebrated and acknowledged fathers during the morning worship service. Pictured are just a few of our faves😍.

Finally, we jetted over to Caramoor for their annual Juneteenth celebration where we displayed the Juneteenth quilt designed by our quilting and sewing ministry.

Praying that you all had a blessed day!

Still celebrating!! On Sunday, we were so blessed to honor and celebrate the Rev. Merle D. McJunkin’s 10th Anniversary as pastor of Antioch!! Our day began in worship with Rev. John R. Simon bringing the morning message. We then enjoyed a buffet lunch and presented gifts and tributes to our pastor and first family. Pastor McJunkin, First Lady Karla and Shayla, we love you and we look forward to celebrating many more anniversaries as pastor and people!!

Blessed Resurrection Day!!

Jesus went to calvary
To save a wrench
Like you and me
That’s love, that’s love
They hung him high
They strecthed him wide
He hung his head, and then he died
That’s love, that’s love
That’s not how the story ends
Three days later he rose again
That’s love, that’s love

Yesterday we gathered in unity, love, and faith for the 55th Annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Interfaith Community Service. Our former pastor, Rev., Dr. Paul S. Briggs taught us that you CAN take it with you. Take the hope, the love, the lessons that you received here out into the world as you continue to work of fighting for justice.

We welcomed community leaders, clergy, and choir members from all faiths to celebrate the life and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
