Happy 4th of July from Liberty Baptist Church!
Today we thank God for the freedoms we enjoy as Americans, and we pause to remember that every good thing we have comes from the Lord.

Psalm 33:12 says, Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

As our nation celebrates 250 years, may we never forget that true freedom is not just political, it is spiritual. Laws can protect liberty, but only Jesus can set the soul free.

John 8:36 says, If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

We are thankful for our country, our flag, our military, our first responders, our families, and the blessings God has given us. But above all, we are thankful for the cross, the empty tomb, and the liberty we have in Christ.

2 Corinthians 3:17 says, Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

May God help us to pray for our nation, love our neighbors, stand for truth, and live as faithful followers of Jesus Christ.

1 Timothy 2:1-2 says, I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

God bless America, and may America turn her heart to God.

Happy Father’s Day from Liberty Baptist Church.

Today we pause to thank God for fathers, grandfathers, and faithful men who lead, love, serve, sacrifice, and point their families to the Lord.

In a world that often minimizes the importance of godly men, we believe fathers matter. Their prayers matter. Their presence matters. Their example matters. The quiet faithfulness of a dad who loves God and loves his family leaves a lasting mark for generations.

The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him. Proverbs 20:7

We are looking forward to honoring our fathers today at Liberty. Bro. Steve Harney will be preaching for us, and we will have a special gift for every father at the end of the service.

Happy Father’s Day. We love you, Dad.
