I Love Sundays!

A perfect day learning that Jesus can calm our fears like he did for the disciples in the boat.

And so much fun at Bible Buddies, too! We sent a lot of animals home with kids who promise to snuggle their buddy AND read to them from their new Bible Storybook.

From the littles to the elementaries today we learned that just like Peter, Andrew, James, and John we can trust God’s plan for us and follow Jesus!

This is our prayer after we finish opening presents at our house. Maybe you’ll find it meaningful too:
Lord Jesus, the peeking is over…for the gifts are open. Yet that isn’t completely true, is it, Lord? Through your life, death and resurrection from the dead, you provide us with one final peek—the hope of heaven’s eternal joy! Parents—we promise today’s Good Friday reflection experience is for kids too! Drop in anytime between 3 and 7 to walk them through our four stations of prayer. And come back Sunday for our Easter celebration. We will even have breakfast and the perfect spot for pictures in their cute outfits.

Yesterday in KidsLife we learned how we can make a difference for kids who don’t have access to clean water.

Join our team “Creek Means Water” and sign up for the Global 6K which will be May 20. We will have a kid friendly course and tons of fun planned along the way. And any money raised between now and Wednesday has the potential to be doubled by a corporate donor.
