Nathan Confronts King David

📖 2 Samuel 12:7–9

“And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel… Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the Lord, to do evil in his sight?”

Men may be afraid to speak truth to power BUT GOD IS NOT, & NEVER HAS BEEN!

After King David abused his power in the matter of Bathsheba and Uriah, God sent the prophet Nathan. Nathan didn’t soften the message—he directly confronted the king’s sin.

Truth to Power Insight:
Even kings are accountable to God. No position exempts a person from the consequences of unrighteousness.

DAY 7 — SENT FROM HIS PRESENCE

📖 Matthew 28:19–20

Jesus sends us out—but He never sends us alone.

👉 “Lo, I am with you always.”

We go because we’ve been with Him.
We serve because we abide.
We witness from His presence, not our strength.

🚶‍♂️ Go for Him today, rooted and grounded in Him.

DAY 6 — WAITING FOR HIS TIMING
đź“– Acts 1:4-5
And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
Even after the resurrection, Jesus told the disciples to wait. Waiting is not inactivity—it’s preparation.
⏳ Sometimes God deepens us in the waiting - before He releases us in the doing.
🙏 “Lord, help me trust Your timing.”

DAY 5 — RECOGNIZED BY CLOSENESS TO JESUS
📖 Acts 4:13 “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.”
The people noticed something about the disciples.
It was Not their education. It was Not their titles.
However, the one thing they did notice about them was the fact that: 👉 They had been with Jesus.

The time you spend with Christ leaves evidence. His presence reshapes how we speak, respond, and walk.
đź‘€ May others see Jesus in us today.

DAY 4 — ABIDE IN ME
📖 John 15:4–5 "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."
Beloved, it might surprise you, but fruit does not come from striving hard to produce. It comes from staying connected. “Not of works lest any man should boast. It is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8-9
Jesus says, “Abide in Me.”
Not “Just pay Me a visit on Sundays.”
Not “You’re good! Just check in at the church occasionally, every once in a while.
He said to Remain. The question is … Do you?
🌿 Today’s truth:
Effort fades, but abiding in Christ produces lasting fruit. Jesus said that a branch can’t bear fruit unless it stays connected to the vine. The vine distributes sap to the branches. If you stay connected to Him, and He is in you, your life will produce much fruit.

DAY 3 — SITTING BEFORE SERVING
📖 Luke 10:38–42 "Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her."

Martha was busy doing good things. But Mary chose the best thing.
Notice, Jesus didn’t rebuke Martha’s service—but He corrected her priorities.
⏸️ If your serving for God has replaced your stillness before God, it might be time for you to sit at His feet again.
🙏 Prayer: “Lord, help me choose the better part.”
