On the plains of ‘Arafah, hearts stand equal before Allah. No status, no wealth, no race matters here, only sincerity, repentance, and submission.

Just like Ibrahim عليه السلام trusted Allah with what he loved most, may we also sacrifice our pride, sins, and worldly attachments for the sake of our Lord.

May Allah accept our du’as, forgive our hidden sins, grant us sincere tawbah, and write our names among His righteous servants. Ameen.”

Eid ul Adha

Assalamualaikum
As many may have heard there was a shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego. What can one say about the depravity it takes to go into a place of worship bent on violence. Allah give our deceased brothers and sisters jannah.
When reading the masjid's security guard's final FB post, it brings tears to the eyes. Allah SWT said, "O believers, fear Allah and do not die (ie death find you) except you are in a state of submission (Islam)."
He died protecting the House of Allah and our children. What a blessed _maut_ in Dhul Hijjah no less.

Allah give all of us Jannah.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

كما سمع الكثير منكم، فقد وقع إطلاق نار في المركز الإسلامي في سان دييغو. فما الذي يمكن أن يُقال عن هذا الانحطاط والفساد الذي يدفع إنسانًا إلى دخول بيتٍ من بيوت العبادة وهو عازم على العنف وسفك الدماء؟

نسأل الله أن يرزق إخواننا وأخواتنا الذين توفوا جنات الفردوس.

وعندما يقرأ المرء آخر منشور لحارس أمن المسجد على الفيسبوك، تدمع العين حزنًا وتأثرًا. قال الله سبحانه وتعالى:
﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ﴾

لقد مات وهو يحمي بيت الله وأطفالنا. يا لها من ميتة مباركة، وفي أيام ذي الحجة كذلك.

نسأل الله أن يرزقنا جميعًا الجنة.
