What if your weakest prayers are actually your most powerful? The early church prayed for Peter's release from prison, but when God answered, they couldn't believe it was really him at the door. Their unbelieving prayers still saved his life. Your doubt isn't stronger than God's grace. Your weakness isn't stronger than His power. The pressure is off - God works through imperfect prayers too.

This Sunday at Reach Church, we’re continuing our series What We Believe by talking about one of the most important (and often misunderstood) parts of the Christian life: prayer. If you’ve been around church for any length of time, you’ve probably been taught that prayer is important. And it is. But if we’re honest, many Christians (including me) still struggle with prayer. Sometimes we don’t know what to say. Sometimes we just don’t feel like doing it. Sometimes we feel distracted, inconsistent, guilty, or spiritually inadequate because our “prayer life” doesn’t seem to measure up to what we think it should look like. And because of that, prayer can slowly become more of a burden than a blessing.

To make matters worse, many of the things we hear about prayer leave us feeling guilty: “I need to pray more.” “I’m not consistent enough.” “My prayer life isn’t where it should be.” But what if part of the reason we struggle with prayer is because we’ve only been told to pray more and pray more boldly…without really understanding what prayer is actually about?

If you’ve ever struggled with prayer, felt intimidated by it, gotten distracted during it, or quietly wondered if you’re “bad at praying,” join us this Sunday at 10am at Reach Church.

See you soon!

Your efforts will never be enough—and that’s actually GOOD NEWS! 💥 The law shows us our need, but grace gives us everything through Christ’s righteousness. You are secure in His hands, loved beyond measure, no matter how much you mess up. This is what grace really means!

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.

Today, we are thankful to live in a nation marked by freedom, and we recognize that those freedoms came at a great cost. This Memorial Day, we remember those who gave their lives in service to others, and we honor their courage, sacrifice, and legacy with gratitude.

Death is inevitable, but what comes after doesn't have to be uncertain. Scripture reveals that heaven isn't our final destination - it's an intermediate state before God brings heaven to earth. The new heaven and new earth will be our eternal home, where we'll have glorified bodies and continue being ourselves without sin's stain. We'll work, create, learn, eat, and enjoy relationships in ways we can barely imagine. The best part will be experiencing perfect fellowship with Jesus forever. This reality should transform how we live today, knowing that no matter what we face, something infinitely better is coming.

Death is one of the few realities every single one of us will face, yet it’s something most people spend their entire lives trying not to think about. But every so often, we’re reminded of just how fragile and fleeting life really is, and we find ourselves forced to ask the question: What happens next?

This Sunday at Reach Church, we’ll continue our series What We Believe with a message about one of the most important (and deeply personal) questions we could ever ask: What Happens When We Die? In Psalm 39, David prays: “Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be…at best, each of us is but a breath.” Life moves fast. Our days are numbered. And if this life really is “but a breath,” shouldn’t we seriously consider what comes next?: What happens after this life? What will Heaven actually be like? Will we recognize each other? What does the Bible really say about eternity?

If you’ve ever wrestled with questions about death, Heaven, eternity, fear, hope, or what awaits us beyond this life, this Sunday is for you.

What happens when we die? What will heaven actually be like? Will we recognize each other? What does the Bible really say about eternity?

This Sunday at Reach Church, we’ll continue our series: What We Believe with an important message about something every single one of us will eventually face and inevitably wonder about throughout our lives: What Happens When We Die?

In Psalm 39, David writes: “Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered—how fleeting my life is...at best, each of us is but a breath.” Our lives on earth are but a breath, and our days are numbered. For all of us, the end will eventually come. So shouldn’t we seriously consider what comes next?

If you’ve ever wrestled with questions about death, eternity, heaven, or what happens after this life, this Sunday is for you! Join us Sunday at 10am at Reach Church.

Many Christians live on a performance treadmill, constantly striving to be good enough for God through their efforts and spiritual achievements. This creates exhaustion and never-ending questions about whether we're doing enough. The real problem isn't lack of commitment but mixing law and grace. A lukewarm Christian isn't someone whose performance is lacking, but someone who believes their own effort can live up to God's law and no longer sees grace as their only hope. The law's purpose is to bring us to the end of ourselves, while grace is the actual agent of transformation. When we rest in Christ's finished work rather than our performance, grace transforms our hearts from the inside out.

This Sunday, we continue our series What We Believe with what I would designate as the single most formative concept I’ve ever learned and discovered in my own spiritual journey. It has shaped my life, it has shaped every message I’ve ever preached, and I would say it is the defining belief that shapes the unique identity of our church. It influences everything: how we read Scripture, how we treat people, how we understand the Christian life, and even the vision and culture of Reach Church itself. That belief is this: the proper distinction between LAW and GRACE.

To explore this, we’re going to look at one of the most misunderstood and misapplied passages in all of Scripture: Revelation 3, where Jesus calls the church in Laodicea “lukewarm.” In Christian culture, we often use the phrase “lukewarm Christian” to describe someone we think is lacking in passion, commitment, or spiritual performance. But what if that’s not at all what Jesus meant? What if this passage isn’t pressuring us into greater performance, but actually inviting us OUT of the exhausting treadmill of trying to prove ourselves to God?

This message is a big one because it gets to the very core of who we are as a church and the message we believe God has called us to proclaim. This is a great Sunday to bring someone with you. Join us Sunday at 10am at Reach Church!

See you soon!
