Good evening to everyone. MTC mourns the passing of Sister Modestine Frederick. Sister Mod was a part of MTC for over 20 years and a blessing to everyone hearts she met. We stand together with her son Deacon Tevin Frederick and family as we celebrate a life well lived. We know without a shadow of a doubt God shined his light on her life and with opened arms welcomed her into the Kingdom of Heaven. MTC has lost a wonderful person, and Heaven gained an Angel. A true born soldier. A loving soul. May she rest in peace and enjoy her new heavenly home. Below is the funeral service date, time and location. Let us all support Deacon Tevin and his family during this time. God bless you all.

Ecclesiastes 11:9
Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.

God gives you the freedom to follow many different roads over the course of life and pursue many different activities, but remember that you will have to answer to him for everything you do. Not everything you do is a call from God, but everything you do is accountable to God.

Galatians 5:16
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Colossians 3:17
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Colossians 3:23
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

If you don’t sense a specific call on your life right now, you still have the call to simply follow Jesus, obeying him wherever you are right now. You have been called to do everything you do every day—even the mundane tasks—to the glory of God, letting the Holy Spirit guide, trying to steer clear of sin, and loving your neighbors as yourself.

The Call of God
It’s part of being human to search for our purpose or calling in life. We all long to be part of something bigger than ourselves. God’s Word gives us much guidance about how God wants his followers to live, but he also has specific tasks for each person. Knowing and following God’s call on our lives helps us make better decisions and keeps us persevering through difficult circumstances.
When God calls us—to a simple task today or toward a full-time vocation—he will equip us with the heart, vision, support, and resources we need to carry out his call. Often he is using the giftedness and passions he already built into us when he created us. As we walk daily with him, a step at a time, he will reveal his desires for us. It might be to minister to the youth in our church, care for an ailing spouse, run a large corporation, feed the hungry, play professional sports, or volunteer at a shelter.
Answering God’s call is not a one-time decision; instead, it’s daily walking with him, being where he wants us to be, doing what he has prepared for us to do. This series of daily steps answering God’s call will become a life lived for his glory.

“When A Man’s Way Please God”
Colossians 1:3-13, Proverbs 16:7 KJV
[3] We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, [4] Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints, [5] For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel; [6] Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth: [7] As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ; [8] Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit. [9] For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; [10] That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; [11] Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; [12] Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: [13] Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Proverbs 16:7 KJV
[7] When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

"Approved by God"
1 Thessalonians 2:1-5 KJV
For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain: [2] But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention. [3] For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile: [4] But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts. [5] For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:

“God’s Grace”
Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV
[8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.

1 Kings 8:56-58 KJV
Blessed be the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant. [57] The LORD our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us: [58] That he may incline our hearts unto him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our fathers.

" Holdfast to Your Faith in God"
Hebrews 10:23-25,35-39 KJV
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) [24] And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: [25] Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is ; but exhorting one another : and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. [35] Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. [36] For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. [37] For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. [38] Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. [39] But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
