In this powerful opening message of Enemies of Your Inheritance, we uncover the spiritual strategy of Amalek — the enemy that opposes God’s people the moment they step into freedom, identity, and inheritance.

Through Exodus 17, Pastor James explores how Amalek represents the spiritual resistance that attacks weary believers, targets identity, and attempts to keep God’s people wandering in fear, exhaustion, distraction, and unbelief instead of walking fully in their promised inheritance.

This message reveals:

Why opposition often increases after breakthrough

How Amalek attacks through weariness, confusion, and isolation

The connection between worship, identity, and victory

What it means to war from a seated place as sons and daughters of God
How believers are called to carry God’s presence into their region

“Freedom will always take you into Amalek territory. Amalek stands between your initial deliverance and your promised inheritance.”

As believers, we are not called to live in the valley of fear and striving, but seated with Christ in heavenly places — carrying His glory, authority, and presence into the earth.

Key Scriptures:

Exodus 17:8–16
Deuteronomy 25:17–19
Ephesians 1:11–21
Romans 8:15–17
Isaiah 54:17

Final Declaration:

“Seated sons and daughters wage worship that defeats Amalek and carries God’s presence into the region.”

Psalm 15 doesn’t just describe outward religion—it reveals the kind of people who truly dwell near the presence of God.

In this message, we unpack what it means to honor righteousness, reject compromise, keep our word even when it costs us, and refuse the subtle “bribes” that pull us away from truth and integrity.

Biblical holiness is not hatred toward people—it is refusing to celebrate what God is trying to redeem people from. We are called to love people deeply while rejecting the darkness that enslaves them.

This sermon confronts:

• Honoring those who fear the Lord

• The power and weight of keeping your word

• Stability that comes through integrity

• Mercy, justice, and biblical stewardship

• Refusing compromise for personal gain

• Becoming people who cannot be shaken

“We are called to love people without loving or esteeming the darkness that enslaves them.”

“To the degree that you can give your word, and keep your word is the degree you will experience stability over the long haul.”

“The enemy will offer instant satisfaction in exchange for your compromised integrity.”

As this Psalm 15 series concludes, this is ultimately a call to surrender—to become people whose lives reflect the heart, truth, holiness, and integrity of Jesus Christ both publicly and privately.
