🔥 WHAT A POWERFUL WORSHIP EXPERIENCE! 🔥
From Sunday School to Morning Worship, the presence of God was truly felt throughout the house! 🙌🏽 The atmosphere was filled with praise, worship, and a powerful Word!
We even had a soul give their life to the Lord! 👏 👏 👏
Pastor Mitchell continued the sermon series, “I’m Drowning and Can’t Swim,” with today’s powerful message: “DON’T LET THE WATER GET IN!”
In Mark 4:35–40, Jesus told His disciples, “Let us pass over unto the other side.” But while they were on their way, a great storm arose. The winds began to blow, the waves crashed against the ship, and the boat began to fill with water.
Here is the revelation, It wasn’t the water around them that was the greatest danger—it was the water getting IN the boat!
There will be storms you cannot stop.
There will be winds you cannot control. There will be waves that come crashing against your life.
But DON’T LET THE WATER GET IN YOU!
Don’t let the storm get in your spirit.
Don’t let fear get in your heart.
Don’t let disappointment steal your faith. Don’t let what you’re going through make you forget WHO IS IN THE BOAT WITH YOU!
The disciples were panicking while Jesus was sleeping. They woke Him and cried, “Master, carest thou not that we perish?”
But Jesus got up, spoke to the storm, and said:
“PEACE, BE STILL.”
What a reminder that even when it looks like you’re about to go under, Jesus is still with you!
The storm may be loud, but God’s voice is louder. The waves may be high, but His power is higher.
The boat may be filling, but you are not going down!
🙌🏽 YOU MAY BE IN THE STORM, BUT THE STORM IS NOT IN YOU!
**Don’t let the water get in! Guard your heart. Hold on to your faith. Keep Jesus in your boat.
