Apostle Curtis Louis I’ve heard many like yourself and Urban Apologists throughout the years make the claim that we are not under the law (nomos) of Moses. If this is congruous with the harmony of Scriptures, then why did the Messiah (Yahusha) say that He don’t know and depart from the people who don’t follow the law (nomos) of Moses? (Matthew 7:21-23).
The Law of Moses is NOMOS in the Greek.

The opposite of the law (lawlessness) is the Greek word ANOMIA.
Iniquity in GREEK is the same word ANOMIA, which means lawlessness.

Now that we have a solid definition of the word for the LAW OF MOSES (nomos) and those whose BREAK THE LAW OF MOSES (anomia) which is INIQUITY. Let’s see what Yahusha say about the LAW OF MOSES and INIQUITY.
Matthew 7:21-23

Here He clearly states that those who break the Law (nomos) of Moses that He doesn’t know.
Need a precept? ”He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” - I John 2:4
This concrete definition of sin, as breaking the Law of Moses is expressed in several passages. Consider what Paul says in Romans 7:7.
Romans 7:7 What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
Here Paul is clearly referring to the Law as given through Moses. Paul then references a particular commandment that he read from the Law of Moses, “You shall not covet.”
Are we to believe you and Urban Apologists or the Messiah (Yahusha)? Let Yah be true an every man a lie.

Rick Marlin asked, in an amicable fashion, for you to explain what the laws of Moses were. Instead of explaining your logic you in turn told him to’ “go read the Torah” then you quoted the a passage out of the Brit Hadasha (NT) and immediately used an ad hominem attack. Sadly, this is a case of amphiboles, equivocation and a straw man approach.
Furthermore, you went on to share your personal biblical worldview. This conversation isn’t about emotionalism, opines, or personal beliefs; it’s about facts that can be proven through biblical text. Respectfully, you failed to do so. I would hope that you might reconsider and answer Marlin’s question through the jurisprudence of Scripture. The burden of proof is always on those who make a claim or assertion, requiring them to provide evidence or arguments to support their position. The responsibility always lies with the individual proposing an idea or argument to substantiate it adequately.

Comment: Apostle Paul was in the Spirit, so those who are in the flesh will never understand him until they as Hebrew Israelites & Christians get born again and come into Christ.
The reason many Hebrew Israelites cannot see what Paul is teaching is because they still have a vail over their hearts. … 2Co 3:14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
2Co 3:15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
2Co 3:16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

According to Galatians 4:23-25 the two main sons of Abraham represent two covenants. Issac represent the covenant that Yah made with the whole nation on Mt. Sinai, but Ishmael represent the book of the all the laws of Moses (after they rejected the 10 commandments) from Mt. Sinai that wasn’t completed until Moab before moses died.

Deu 5:1 And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them.
Deu 5:2 The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.
Deu 5:3 The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.
Comment: These verses make it clear that there was a covenant made at Horeb/Mt. Sinai (Deuteronomy 5:2 & Deuteronomy 5:22 & Exodus 34:28).

But there is another covenant that’s being made in Moab 40 years later with the young people which was called the law of Moses (Deuteronomy 5:3 & Deuteronomy 31:22 & Deuteronomy 31:26)

Gal 4:24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bo***ge, which is Agar.
Comment: The covenant on Mt. Sinai (The Royal laws-Deuteronomy 5:22) had the glory of Yah resting on them and it represent Issac who is the promise child born after freedom, but the covenant in Moab represents Ishmael who was born after the flesh which represents bo***ge.

So, which covenant are you under??? (The glory of God or bo***ge).

To Hebrew Israelites & To Christians:

Comment: According to the new covenant under The Melchizedek Priesthood, if you are listening and following teachers of the law of Moses, then you are being led into bo***ge, because the law of Moses represents Ishmael which is bo***ge.
According to Galatians 4:21-24 Abraham’s two sons represented the two covenants. Issac represents the Royal laws (The covenant of Yah spoke by Yah’s own mouth to all Israel = Exodus 31:18), but Ishmael represents the book of the law of Moses (the book that was on the outside of the Ark in the side = Deuteronomy 31:26)

According to Galatians 4:24, all of the hundreds & hundreds of the laws given, after they rejected the 10 commandments, were considered the laws of Moses; and they were designed to produce bo***ge, to show the Israelites their need for Christ. … Gal 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
Gal 3:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

#2.Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Comment: According to Galatians 2:21, anyone who does not understand what the true grace of God really is, will never ever please The Most High Father; because if you are seeking righteousness by keeping the law of Moses, then you are frustrating the grace of God, and Christ’s death is in vain for you.
#3.Gal 3:1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
Comment: Not only to the Galatians, but this is for anyone who is foolish enough to reject Christ by listening to false teachers trying to convince you that Yah’s righteousness is obtained by obeying the law of Moses, or by a false grace.
#4.Gal 3:15 Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.
Comment: Issac represents the covenant that was made with Abraham long before the law of Moses was given. So, who are you following Issac or Ishmael???

#5.Gal 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
Comment: All the promises will come through Abraham by way of Christ, so if you are trying to get them through the law of Moses, then you are making the same mistake the ancient stiff neck Israelites made.

#6.Gal 3:17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
Comment: The covenant that Yah made with Abraham is what makes us righteous, and the law of Moses that came 430 years later cannot change that fact.

#7.Gal 3:18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
Comment: According to Galatians 3:18, if the inheritance/promises comes by the law of Moses, then that would make the promise that God made to Abraham (null and void) a lie. (Romans 3:4)

#8.Gal 3:19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
