Another full day at Water All Around the World! Today VBS kiddos colored the Iglesia Presbyteriana Reformada en Cuba cross logo, heard the story of God providing water from the rock in Exodus 17, learned about Isaac in Cuba and the work of Water for the Living World, enjoyed some watermelon and oranges, made coffee filter butterflies, created storms with their bodies and played drums, and worked in teams to deliver water with tablespoons and their feet! We'll see you tomorrow with stuffed animals for our next Bible story and on Sunday for our big celebration!

We had a blast today making maracas, hearing the story of Hagar and Ishmael, playing games outside, eating goldfish and popsicles, singing and playing music, and learning about Ana in Guatemala and the work of Living Waters for the World. God has been so good, and we are so grateful for our servants who guided our children today. We'll see you tomorrow!

Correction: Stuffies need to come with the children on Wednesday, not Tuesday!

Sunday school classes were busy with little ones using play doh to learn about the Trinity while the older ones prepared cards for shut ins. Learning early about the important things of their faith.

We're so excited VBS is just around the corner! We're also thrilled to be expanding the curriculum to include the whole church! On June 7, immediately following the worship service, we will have a concluding program and celebration of the children's growth as young disciples in the fellowship hall. The celebration will include an international potluck, international music performed by the children, a missions presentation, and an intergenerational art project!
For the potluck, please bring a labeled dish with 4+ servings. Due to the international curriculum the children will have explored throughout the week, suggested dishes are black beans, rice, tortillas, carnitas, fried plantains, fruit kabobs, and tres leches cake. However, if you have another international-inspired dish you'd like to bring, we welcome that, too!
We can't wait to see you there!

Wow! What a Pentecost Sunday we had! From Sunday School to our church service we represented so many awesome aspects of our church family! We always love hearing veteran and tenor John White sing, especially for Memorial Day weekend! And from kindergarten to 5th grade the children learned more about what happened on that Pentecost day in the Bible! Thanks to Pastor Jerry, the children brought bright red streamers down the aisle for children’s church to celebrate Pentecost further and we all drew closer together as a church as we took Communion together. Another great day at BPC!

On Pentecost Sunday (May 24, 2026), we celebrate the descending of the Holy Spirit on Jesus's followers after his ascension as described in Acts 2.

Did you know the church calendar has many symbolic colors? At the celebration of Pentecost, the church usually dons red. We hope you'll join us in wearing red and celebrating the arrival of the Comforter this Sunday!
