A message from our pastor: Rickey Haynes

Happy white Saturday. My prayer is that all of you are warm and safe and will continue to be so through this stretch of winter weather. Due to the forecast temperatures and probable road conditions we will not gather tomorrow at the church building to worship. I would like to invite everyone to take the 10:00 AM hour this Sunday and spend our normal time for gathering to worship at home in prayer and Scripture reading. You can pray for those on our prayer list that God has given us the authority, the privilege, and the responsibility for which to pray. Also begin asking God to reveal the path He desires for The Cold Springs UMC to follow as we move forward into Lent and Easter. Then ask the Holy Spirit to prepare us for what lies ahead in the ministry of this people of God who gather now and those who will begin to gather with us to worship the One True God of all the universe. So stay warm, do no harm, do all the good you are able to do, and pray. God willing, we will gather again on February 1st.
