Maybe church hasn’t always felt like a safe place for you.
Maybe you grew up in church but walked away.
Maybe somebody in church hurt you.
Maybe you got tired of the judgment, politics, pretending, or feeling like you had to clean yourself up before you could belong.
Maybe you have questions about God that nobody seemed comfortable letting you ask.
Or maybe you're simply thinking, “Church just isn't for me.”
We understand.

FaithWay isn't interested in pretending we've got everything figured out either.

🏠🔨 HOME IMPROVEMENT — THE FINAL WEEK!

For eight weeks, we've been talking about building stronger marriages, healthier families, and homes centered on Jesus.

This Sunday, it's time for the FINAL INSPECTION.

Week 8: Final Inspection- “What Are We Actually Building?”

Because eventually, every project forces us to ask the question:
Did we build something that only looks good... or something that will actually last?

We spend our lives building careers, raising kids, paying mortgages, planning for retirement, chasing goals, and trying desperately to keep everybody in the family headed in roughly the same direction. 😂

But someday, somebody else will own the house.
Somebody else will drive the car.
Somebody else will sort through all the stuff we thought we absolutely had to have.
So what's left?
Faith. Character. Grace. People. Legacy. Jesus.

This Sunday we're talking about the kind of family legacy that can outlive us—and the difference between leaving our kids stuff and leaving them a faith worth building their own lives on.

Our big idea:
The goal isn't to build a family that looks successful today. It's to build a home whose faithfulness still matters when we're gone.

Whether you're married, single, parenting little ones, raising teenagers, have grown children, or your family story looks nothing like you expected it would—this message is for you.

And no, your family doesn't have to be perfect.
If perfect families were required, church attendance would drop to zero. 😂

Come as you are.
Bring your family.
Bring a friend.
Bring someone who's trying to figure out what really matters in life.

When Your Home Becomes Bigger Than the People Who Live in It

What if God didn't bless your family just for your family?
We spend a lot of time trying to build better marriages, raise healthy kids, protect our homes, pay the bills, and keep everybody moving in the same general direction—which, depending on the week, is already a minor miracle. 😂

But what if a healthy home isn't supposed to stop at the front door?
This Sunday at FaithWay Church, we're continuing our Home Improvement series with THE ADDITION—and we're talking about how God can use ordinary families, ordinary homes, ordinary dinner tables, and ordinary people to make an extraordinary difference in someone else's life.

You don't need the perfect marriage. You don't need perfect kids. You definitely don't need the perfect house.

You just need to be willing to make room.
Maybe for a neighbor. A coworker. A struggling couple. A lonely person. Someone who doesn't have much family. Or someone who desperately needs to experience the love of Jesus through yours.

Because:
God didn't build your family just to bless the people inside your home.
He wants to use your home to bless the people outside of it.
And don't worry—we're not asking you to actually build another room. Lumber is expensive. 😂

The next minute you're negotiating with a small human over why underwear is not optional.

This Sunday at FaithWay, we're talking about what it really means to raise kids with faith, grace, discipline, and purpose.

Not perfect kids.Not perfect parents.Not picture-perfect families.

Just real people learning how to point the next generation toward Jesus while all of us are still under construction.

We'll talk about:
• Why behavior isn't the ultimate goal
• How to disciple your kids in everyday life
• The difference between discipline and anger
• Why your kids need to see you apologize
• And how to raise adults who follow Jesus when you're no longer standing over their shoulder

Whether you're parenting toddlers, teenagers, adult children, preparing for kids someday, or helping influence the next generation, there's something in this message for you.
