At Wat Lao Sengphokham of Kansas City, we gather to celebrate the story of Prince Vessantara, whose boundless generosity reminds us that compassion and sacrifice create lasting merit.

Join us for three days of music, food, and cultural blessings as we make merit together, strengthen community bonds, and honor the sacred teachings of Boun Phra Vet — the festival of giving.

This festival could not have happened without the incredible volunteers, dancers, pageant contestants, and community leaders who poured their hearts into making this celebration so special. ✨

We are beyond thankful for every helping hand, every performance, every late night, every setup, every rehearsal, and every act of love poured into our community. From preserving culture to creating memories for the next generation — this is what community truly looks like. 💛
