Raised with Christ — Colossians 3:1–4

Today we were reminded that if we belong to Christ, we have been raised to new life.

We asked:

What are we doing with the life Christ has given us?

Are we following Him?
Are we honoring Him as Lord?
Are we making Him known?
Are we living from our new identity in Christ, or still reaching back toward the old life?

Paul reminds us:

You have died. Your life is hidden with Christ. Christ is your life.

So seek Him. Set your mind on Him. Live like someone who has been made alive.

And as we pray for God to grow His church:

Before you ask God to bring someone through these doors, ask God whose door He wants you to walk through.

This morning we looked at Colossians 2:16–23 — “Do Not Trade Christ for Religion.”

Rules can change how we look on the outside, but only Christ can change the heart.

Paul reminds us that we have died with Christ to the ways of this world. So why return to checklists, traditions, and man-made rules to measure our faith?

Christ is enough. Hold fast to Him.
