FBCKids Parents,
I wanted to take a moment to share our classroom guidelines for Wednesday nights.
Our heart is to provide an environment where every child has the opportunity to learn about Jesus, hear His Word, and grow in their faith. In order for that to happen, we need a few simple expectations in place.
If we don’t establish some basic guidelines, we run the risk of distractions making it difficult for our teachers to teach and for our kiddos to hear the message. The most important thing to me is that our kids hear the stories of the Bible and learn about our amazing Savior, Jesus! ❤️
We also understand that Wednesdays can be HARD! Our kiddos have already spent a full day at school, some have been in after-school care, participated in choir, had dinner, and then are being asked to focus for another hour. We understand they are tired, and we want to give them grace while also helping them learn what is expected in our classrooms.
Over the next few weeks, we will be teaching and practicing these expectations with our kiddos so they can become familiar with our Wednesday night routines.
I’ll go over the guidelines with our FBCKids tomorrow evening before our lessons begin. Our goal isn’t perfection—it’s to create an environment where everyone can learn, participate, and have the opportunity to hear about Jesus.
Thank you, parents, for partnering with us as we help our children know, love, and follow God!
I hope and pray you all know how much Bruce & I love your kiddos and want to be here for your family!
