Here is your reminder that our June meeting will be held this Wednesday, the 10th. Supper and Social at 6:00, Meeting at 6:30, and COR Presentation at 7:00 PM. We have the Election of Officers and many other items for discussion on the agenda. Please attend if you are able. Your input is important for direction!

This note us directed to the potential KC candidates who will be initiated on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Please assemble in the family room immediately after Mass. You will need to complete your registration form and sign the Constitutional Roll before we begin the ceremony. Please be reminded that your families are invited and encouraged to stay for the ceremony as well.

We will be hosting an initiation ceremony for new Knights of Columbus members, this Saturday, May 9, 2026, immediately after Mass. So far we have six potential members. It would be nice to have as many of our current members at the ceremony in a show of support and encouragement for our newest members. Please attend if you are able!

Don't forget that the KCs are preparing and serving breakfast after Mass tomorrow morning, Sunday, April 26, 2026, as it marks the last day of Religious Education classes this Spring. Please give us some help in the kitchen. We will be serving Pancakes, Sausage, and Scrambled Eggs, so we need some short order cooks, servers, and a clean up crew. The breakfast will be Free Will. We will also have MN Knights Foundation raffle tickets available for $5 each. This will be your last chance to purchase the winning ticket as the drawing will be held at the State Convention in two weeks! Thank you for your support!

Please make a note that we will hold our April meeting, Sunday the 12th, in Hildebrand Hall, immediately after Mass. Please attend if you are able as we have many items on the agenda that need to be discussed! See you there!

Attention Brother Knights! Those of you who are able to attend Mass on Holy Thursday evening, please come to the Family Room before Mass to put on a KC Sash to wear during Mass. Immediately after Mass, the KCs will lead the procession with the Blessed Sacrament to Hildebrand Hall for Adoration! Please join us and spend some time in Adoration on this special occassion!

There are some branches at the cemetery that need trimming. If you could lend a hand for a few hours this Saturday morning, March 28th, at 9:00 AM, that would be great. Rick Maier will bring his dump trailer for disposal. If you have a chainsaw, bring it along. Maybe a rake would be useful too. See you Saturday! Thank you!

We had a great crowd turn up to support the KCs in their effort to raise some funds for our HELPERS organization tonight. Besides the assistance of members of the HELPERS, special thanks and acknowledgement should go to Roger Durensky in procuring all of the groceries and supplies, Pam Scheffler for preparing the Mac'nCheese and cole slaw, Kathy Nelson for her assistance in organizing the assembly of the To Go orders, and Paul Maier for hustling the To Go orders out to the vehicles. That young man is a real hustler and his voluntary help is greatly appreciated! As usual, the KCs did a great job of preparing the meal and getting the kitchen back to being operational again. Thank you to everyone who helped in any way!

Tomorrow, March 20, 2026, is our last Lenten Fish Fry for this year. A few of our regular volunteers have other work related duties and so, won't be able to help out tomorrow. If you can lend a hand in the kitchen for this last Fish Fry, please show up about 4:00 PM or whenever you can. Two or three people too many is a lot better than one person short! Thanks for your help!

The members of the Knights of Columbus are cordially invited to attend the 85th birthday celebration for Dennis Sobtzak and also the 60th anniversary of his military commission! The party will be held at the Barnesville VFW Club on Monday, April 27th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Supper will be served from 5:00 to 7:00 with a Free Will offering to the VFW. A polka band, The Meat Rabbits, will provide the entertainment from 5:30 to 8:00 PM. Everyone is invited to come and help Dennis celebrate the occassion!
