As Christians, we can believe in capital punishment and the necessity of war without celebrating death or destruction.

Pastor Christopher Bryan Lockemy reminds us that as people of God, we are called to celebrate justice, not suffering. True justice brings freedom, and our hearts should always reflect God's mercy, compassion, and righteousness.

For 21 years, our pastors have faithfully served, led, mentored, prayed, sacrificed, and poured into this church and the people in it.

Their yes has impacted more lives than they may ever fully know.

This Pastor Appreciation Month, we honor them and thank God for their faithfulness. We pray over them for protection and healing, for grace and love, for encouragement when the weight feels heavy, and for peace in every season.

May God continue to strengthen them, refresh them, and remind them that their labor is not in vain.

Do you ever just need someone to listen?

Someone to hear your thoughts, your feelings, your fears, your struggles… someone to simply be there.

Jesus is.

He listens. He cares. And you don’t have to pray with perfect words or know exactly what to say.

Just talk to Him.

Pour your heart out the same way you would to a close friend. Tell Him what hurts. Tell Him what you’re afraid of. Tell Him what you don’t understand.

He is listening. He is near. And He will never get tired of hearing from you. ❤️
