Not everything that promises freedom will set you free. Sin promises freedom but true freedom isn’t found in chasing our desires, but in surrendering our lives to Christ.

Sunday was a reminder that no one is too far gone to come home.

We walked through the parable of the lost sheep and the lost son, and the message was clear: when we wander, God’s grace is always there to bring us back. He’s not waiting with a scolding. He’s waiting with open arms. 🤍

And we got to celebrate two beautiful baptisms! Welcome to the kingdom, Sabrina and Alea! Heaven is rejoicing over you today.

If you’ve been feeling far from home, this is your sign. Come back. He wants you here!

The brothers had a special midweek service entitled “Meat & Potatoes”, where we feasted both physically and spiritually. A few brothers share their testimony on how God worked in their life and brought them to a place of spiritual freedom. And the steaks were as good as they looked! we’re so grateful to have a community of men striving after God‘s own heart 💪🏽

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” - John 13:34-35 NIV

Can’t wait to see you all tomorrow and worship together

Following Jesus was never meant to become a checklist of how much we evangelize, how many good deeds we do, or whether we do everything the “right” way.

In Galatians 2, Paul reminds us that we are made right with God through faith in Jesus Christ not by our works.

Our obedience matters, but it should flow from a heart transformed by Christ, not from trying to earn His love.
We don’t work for a relationship with God. We live differently because of our relationship with God.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for worship this week. It was a powerful time of praise, and we are grateful for the opportunity to gather together as a church family.

Our message reminded us that grace is not earned through works. As Galatians 2:21 reminds us, if righteousness could be gained through the law, then Christ died for nothing. While obedience is the fruit of our faith, a relationship with God cannot be gained by anything we do. We receive His favor through grace, not merit.

We closed the service with wonderful news: we have met our missions goal! We are deeply thankful for the generosity of our congregation and for everyone who made this possible!

Whether you have been with us for years or are considering visiting for the first time, we would love to see you again. Come as you are. You are always welcome here.
